Latest Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack A Huge Success
Activision Blizzard has just announced that Call of Duty: World at War, the latest entry in the long-running franchise, has had over one million paid downloads of Map Pack 3, which is available for 800 MS Points on Xbox Live and $9.99 on the PlayStation Network.
Call of Duty: World at War takes place during World War II, and garnered a massive following due to its deep multiplayer mode. Map Pack 3 added three more maps and a Nazi Zombies map, along with ten more Achievements/Trophies. The map was released on August 6th.
All three map packs combined amount to a combined 6.5 million downloads, and Map Pack 3 selling for around $10, that's bound to be good news for the company during a time where sales are hard to come by.
