Mafia 2 Another Profitable Title Says Take-Two
Earlier this week, Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter remarked that Mafia 2 had performed "well below expectations" and would have trouble breaking even. However, Take Two's CEO Ben Feder obviously believes otherwise.
Feder has said at the company's quarterly earnings call that, contrary to popular belief, Mafia 2 is likely yet "another profitable title" for the company.
"Based upon the initial launch, we expect this to be another profitable title for Take-Two."
No actual numbers or sales figures were mentioned. Mafia 2 had a relatively mixed reaction among the media with some praising the game and others not so much.
