Magna Carta 2, the follow-up to the the PlayStation 2 RPG Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, will be coming to North America and Europe this fall.
The game is powered by the Unreal Engine. It tells the story of a male youth called Luto who suffers from amnesia and gets caught up in a war on the continent of Lanzheim.
The combat system from Tears of Blood, which many thought was too complex for its own good, has been overhauled in the sequel. You can now interact with objects around you during battle and use them to your advantage. Characters have varying skills that can be learned from the various weapons they can equip, and those weapons can be created by collecting items from fallen enemies.
Hyung-tae Kim, the character designer from the PS2 game, will be returning. Players don't need to worry about not having played Tears of Blood since Magna Carta 2 takes place in an entirely new world.
