Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Xbox Live Release Date Revealed

Players anxious to play the Xbox Live version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 can rejoice, as Capcom has revealed both the release date and the price point for the game, which will be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
The game was originally released in 2000 in the arcades, with a Dreamcast release in that same year. The game was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2002 and the original Xbox in 2003, but both were plagued by slowdown from a sub-par port of the Dreamcast version. Due to Capcom losing the license shortly after the PS2 and Xbox releases, prices for the games shot up dramatically.
The game will be released on July 29th on Xbox Live for 1,200 Microsoft Points, as part of Microsoft's Summer of Arcade event. No word has been given on the PlayStation Network version of the game, although it is likely it will be released that same week when Sony updates their service.
