Mass Effect 2 On PS3 Uses Mass Effect 3's Engine

Mass Effect 2 is out next month on the PlayStation 3, a year after the PC and Xbox 360 versions. And BioWare has now announced that the game will actually be using the Mass Effect 3 engine.
Speaking on the BioWare podcast, Jess Houston said "We've actually created the engine for Mass Effect 3 and use that to make Mass Effect 2 PS3. So we took the content and the story and all the other assets that made up Mass Effect 2 and we put them in the Mass Effect 3 engine. And that's what we are actually delivering."
This means that the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 will have rather boosted visuals in comparison to the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
