Microsoft: 66 Million Xbox 360 Consoles Sold Worldwide

Microsoft has announced during its Consumer Electronics Expo 2012 keynote that the company has managed to sell 66 million Xbox 360 consoles worldwide.

Steve Ballmer, who hosted the keynote, also revealed that Xbox Live has 40 million subscribers (combination of Silver and Gold) and that its Kinect peripheral has now shipped 18 million units worldwide.

Ballmer also revealed that Kinect of Windows would be releasing on the 1st of February, which will come with its own SDK and modified Kinect technology.
