Minecraft: Pocket Edition Reaches 1 Million Sales On Android
Mojang has announced that the Android version of Minecraft, dubbed Minecraft: Pocket Edition, has crossed the one million downloads milestone - all of which were paid.
The news was revealed by Daniel Kaplan, Mojang's business developer, via Twitter. He said "Minecraft - Pocket Edition has now sold more than 1 million copies. Thanks all for the support and I hope you will like the coming updates!"
There is no word on the Apple iOS version in relation to sales figures, or when it will appear on the Xbox 360. It currently is sitting in 26th slot on the paid apps chart on the Apple App store.
