Modern Warfare 2 Christmas #1 In The UK, Assassin's Creed 2 Falters
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been confirmed as the Christmas Number One in the UK, after maintaining its top position since it was released over a month ago. It has managed to fight off some late charges from FIFA 10, Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort, which all rose in the rankings.
Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2 felt to its lowest position since its launch, with it appearing in 5th, while James Cameron's Avatar: The Game, arrived in 12th. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks dropped from 12th to 18th in its second week.
It'll be concerning for Sony to see that they have no exclusive titles in the top 20, whereas Microsoft have two, and Nintendo have quite a large number.
