Modern Warfare 2 Unsurprisingly Tops UK Sales Charts

Reports have been flying in from everywhere about how Modern Warfare has been smashing sales records. It even broke the record set by Grand Theft Auto IV for the biggest launch in UK history.

Bearing this in mind, it's hardly unexpected to see that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leads the way in this weeks UK Sales Charts and it will probably be holding that spot for a while. It'll definitely be interesting to see if Assassin's Creed 2 can knock it off its perch next week though.

Also interesting is that the original, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is still in the top 20. It's currently occupying position #19, just ahead of Tekken 6.
