Modern Warfare 2's Infamous Public 'Private' Match Bug Gets Patched

Modern Warfare 2 has been plagued by bugs since its launch last month, and Infinity Ward have struggled to keep on top of things. They are trying though, and they've just put out a patch which fixes the most recent high profile bug, entitled Public "Private" Match.

The latest patch also fixes the Prestige Hack on PlayStation 3, and also fixes a Texture Hack which as appearing on the PC version of the game.

Let's hope it's a long time before the next big bug is found in the game, because they've really been hindering the experience for gamers so far.

GamingUnion.net are currently giving away a Nintendo Wii, along with Sky Crawlers and Ghost in the Shell on Blu-Ray. Visit the competition page to find out how you can win.

But apparently they haven\'t patched the shotgun exploit! Jesus christ! For a game thats running on the Quake 3 engine I cant believe there are still so many holes in the code!? How old is it now? Its gotta be about 9 years old now!

I think the model 1887 shotguns were fine the way they were and they\'ve taken so much range off of them it is pointless to even use them now because the rate of fire sucks to at least before they had one value
