NeoGeo Battle Coliseum Upgrades to HD For Xbox Live
Fans of SNK fighting games will have a lot to look forward to this spring as Xbox Live Arcade is set to feature NeoGeo Battle Coliseum. A port from its Playstation 2 counterpart its been recently revealed that much of the games visuals will be upgraded for its next-gen rerelease.
New character art, improved backgrounds and an all new high definition character select screen are some of the improved features that will be featured. All of the sprites in game have also been cleaned up for their HD appearance, shedding their previously pixelated look for a newer, cleaner, more highly defined visual.
Consisting of classic characters from previous SNK titles like King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, and the Metal Slug series Battle Coliseum promises to be a great addition to Xbox Live. Featuring 2v2 tag team combat and over 35 combatants in its PS2 form there's been no other announced additions for its Xbox counterpart. The game is confirmed for a Spring 2010 release in Japan on Xbox Live Arcade only.
