New Call of Duty FPS Coming In 2011, Could Be Modern Warfare 3
On Activision Blizzard's earnings call, it was revealed that the company would be publishing a new Call of Duty FPS in the next calendar year.
"We will launch a new first-person action title during the back half of 2011," said Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg.
The name of the title wasn't revealed, although Modern Warfare 3 would be an obvious suggestion, and the studio developing the title also wasn't mentioned. It's worth noting that this would be a separate title from the third-person shooter being developed by Sledgehammer Games.
