Halo Reach Announced
Posted on 2009/06/01 by Darryl
At this year's Microsoft E3 Press Conference, Bungie did a demo for Halo 3: ODST. However, that wasn't their big announcement.
While also on the stage, the Bungie representative also announced a new Halo game. Many were probably hoping for Halo 4, but instead Halo Reach was announced.
The release date has been given a provisional date of 2010, but no other details are known aside from this and the name. However, players who buy Halo 3: ODST will have access to the multiplayer beta.

I enjoy the original Halo Trilogy to this day. But I really like the looks of ODST because it takes the whole experience and makes it more realistic (at least a little). I know Reach will star the Master Chief\'s Spartan Squad, but I want them to change the dynamic up a little more so that the game is overall more challenging and realistic than the original trilogy. The Halo book \"The Fall of Reach\" was realistic and military-like enough to set the tone for this game; I just hope Bungie lives up to its promises.
