Next Wii Zelda To Use MotionPlus

According to a recent Q&A session put up on Nintendo of Japan's official website, it appears the next Zelda game on the Wii will make use of the MotionPlus accessory for the Wii.

The accessory, which was released this Summer around the world, was required to play Wii Sports Resort and provided improved play control for handful of other Wii games.

Shigeru Miyamoto, one of the key players behind many of Nintendo's popular franchises, had this to say about the inclusion of MotionPlus in the next Zelda:

In this (installment of the series), we’re using MotionPlus to make you feel much more like you’re actually fighting while holding a sword in your hand.

There were statements from the company during E3 2009 that they were looking into MotionPlus, but these recent statements appear to confirm it.
