Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Dated In Japan

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a highly anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusive, which is essentially a slightly improved version of Ninja Gaiden II, a game which was already released on the Xbox 360.

It adds some new game modes, including online co-op, some new characters and fixes some of the problems that plagued the Xbox 360 version. Impressions at E3 were extremely positive, but up until now, there was no indication of when we'd actually get to see the game released.

There's still no news on the Western front, but the game has been given a release date and price in Japan. This date is the 1st of October, 2009 and it's scheduled to go on sale for 7,800 Yen.

Hopefully a western release date is announced soon.
