Nintendo Confirm Release Of Nintendo DSi XL In Europe
Earlier today we reported that Nintendo would be releasing a new Nintendo DSi in Japan called the Nintendo DSi LL, but at the time there was no word about a Western release. Things have changed though, as Nintendo Europe have announced it will be released in Europe in 2010.
Speaking to VG247, they made a statement which read,
Nintendo today confirms that a new Nintendo DSi XL console is launching in Europe in the first quarter of 2010. The retail price of the Nintendo DSi XL is expected to be higher than that of the Nintendo DSi. Further details will be released soon.
It certainly has a more sensible name, but it's not necessarily more appealing. Its increased price point is also interesting to note.
