Nintendo DS Lite Drops To $99.99 In US

Nintendo has officially dropped the recommended retail price of the Nintendo DS Lite to $99.99, as well as re-boxing some of its more prominent first-party products.

The price cut will become effective on the 5th of June, just before E3, although it's only for the United States, where the console has collectively sold over 48 million units.

To go along with the move, Nintendo will re-box six Mario games in red boxes, including Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Party DS and New Super Mario Bros.
