Nintendo DSi Gets Facebook Support...In Japan
During Nintendo's E3 2009 Press Conference, Nintendo announced support for linking the Nintendo DSi's Camera application with Facebook, allowing you to post images from your DSi to your Facebook account.
The firmware update was given a tentative "Fall" release date in North America, but it seems Japan has already received the update, according to a new page added to Nintendo of Japan's official website. It appears this update will let you upload images from your album to your Facebook account after entering your username and password.
Considering Facebook is less popular in Japan than it is in North America or Europe, it will be interesting to see if this addition causes a stir in interest for the social networking website.
