Nintendo Report Significant Losses
Nintendo has reported significant losses this past financial year of 43 billion yen (£328.7m), the first time the company has ever posted an annual loss.
Last year, despite the Nintendo Wii curtailing, Nintendo still managed to post a profit of 77 billion yen (£588.6m), which was still a 66 percent decrease on the previous year.
Despite this, Nintendo has continued to improve its offering. While the Nintendo 3DS got off to a shakey start, the console has now managed to sell over 17 million units around the world. The Nintendo Wii also managed to sell almost 10 million units in the last year.
