North American Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Release Date Set
Konami has announced, as expected, the North American release date for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The PlayStation Portable game will sneak onto retail store shelves the morning of May 25th, 2010.
In contrast to the Japanese MGS: Peace Walker release date, the game is actually releasing later than Metal Gear games tend too. MGS4 was a simultaneous release, MGS: Portable Ops released a few weeks earlier in North America than Japan, MGS3 was a month earlier in North America, MGS2 was two weeks earlier in North America, and the original Metal Gear Solid released in North America a month behind the Japanese release.
MGS: Peace Walker however releases over two months after the Japanese release, in North America. Food for thought, but whatever the case, Peace Walker should make for a great Spring release.
