NPD: God of War 3 Sells 1.1 Million Copies
Despite only being released half-way through the month, God of War 3 managed to sell more units on a single console than any other game in the same period.
It managed to sell 1.1 million copies, which is an extremely respectable number for the PS3 exclusive title. It actually surpassed God of War 2's opening month by 32%.
