OnLive Testing Wi-Fi Play
OnLive has just announced that they will be running tests for Wi-Fi functionality for the already impressive cloud gaming service, which currently requires a wired connection.
“Wi-Fi support has been the most requested feature among OnLive members, so we made it a top development priority and were able to roll out a beta version ahead of schedule,” said OnLive COO Mike McGarvey.
“We’re continuing to add new features and enhance the service, as well as expand the list of top new release games.”
In addition, sign ups have been extended to December 31 for OnLive's Founding Members Program which includes a full free one year membership. Users can also opt for a second year at $5 per month.
OnLive's service is currently only available in the United States but will soon make its way over to Canada according to The Globe And Mail.
