3  Players Outraged With Bioshock 2 On-Disc DLC Mon, Mar 15th, 2010, 8:44 am (EST) BY JAMIE COURTS After an outpour of internet complaints, 2K has responded to the accusation of having the latest "Sinclair Solutions" pack already on the disc. Community Manager, Elizabeth Tobey, had released a statement on the 2K forums stating, "The way our engine and game structure works is that people need to have the exact same content for people to play together. One of the challenges with post launch content for MP is that it can split the player base, and we want to avoid that whenever possible. For this content, creating the DLC package the way we did allowed for us to not split the player base - so whether you purchase the new content or not, you can still play with your friends" More »

0  THQ: Next Red Faction Coming March 2011 Thu, Mar 11th, 2010, 10:20 am (EST) BY DARRYL THQ have confirmed, via Joystiq, that the next installment into the Red Faction franchise is planned for release during March 2011 - it initially only had a release window of Fiscal 2011. THQ's executive VP of Core Games Danny Bilson, also revealed some details about the direction the franchise is now going to take "The new game takes [Red Faction] to a whole new place, it kind of goes back to the old Red Faction because about 80% of it is underground". 0  Battlefield: Bad Company 2 UK Sales Dominated By Xbox 360 Tue, Mar 9th, 2010, 10:34 am (EST) BY DARRYL Chart Track have revealed that the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has accounted for 53 percent of all sales of the title in the UK. The PlayStation 3 was the second biggest, with 31 percent coming on that platform, while the PC contributed 16 percent. As well as being a bit coup for Xbox 360, combined, the sales of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 make it the fastest selling game in the UK in 2010. It actually outsold the original title by a ratio of 3:1. More »
