Persona 3 Comes to PSP
Atlus has just announced a port of the popular game Persona 3 for the PlayStation Portable in Japan in the latest issue of Famitsu.
The port will include a new female main character (the original game only gave you the choice of playing as a male). The female route will have some slight differences from the male route (boyfriends instead of girlfriends, obviously), while the male route will be mostly the same with some added extras.
The female route will also include a male replacement for Elizabeth, which fulfilled the 80+ requests you could take on in the game. The ability to control your party members is also added (making it the same as Persona 4), which was a major issue with the original game since the AI sometimes chose "odd" attacks.
According to the scans, it appears the game is on track for a November 1st release date in Japan. No word on an North American release, although Atlus did release both Persona 3 and Persona 3: FES outside of Japan, both releases getting an impressive amount of sales.
