Peter Molyneux Announces Fable III
PPeter Molyneux lead Microsoft's GamesCom 2009 Press Conference earlier today to reveal Fable III, and spoke about some of the new gameplay features and story-line this time round.
What has been divulged so far is the fact players will playing as the child of their hero from Fable II, placing them in the position of ruling Albion from the throne. Players choices and decisions will have far more out-reaching consequences. He also had this to say during the announcement.
We’ve spent a lot of time at Lionhead thinking about how we can innovate the gameplay and progress the world of the ‘Fable’ games for its third chapter, and we’re confident that players won’t second-guess what we have planned for ‘Fable III.’
Molyneux debuted the first footage of Fable III at the conference.
Fable III is due out sometime in 2010 and only on the Xbox 360. As well as this Lionhead also have plans to release Fable II over Xbox live downloadable in 5 separate chapters for those who didn't get the chance before.
