PlayStation Home To Add Instant Game Launching This Fall
Fans of Sony's PlayStation Home who have wanted to be able to launch any game straight from Home (currently only select titles support it) can rejoice, as Sony has announced at GamesCom 2009 that Home will be updated to Version 1.3 this Fall.
Now games icons will appear over your character's head after choosing the option in the menu, and some games will have extra multiplayer functionality built-in (perhaps booting straight to the multiplayer mode?). All you need to do is insert in a disc and pick the game you want to play.
In-store clothing previewing is also added, so you can see how it looks instantly. Certain items will also be rent-able for a short period of time. Other minor changes such as more fine-tuned hiding of objects and putting will also be added.
