Portal 2 Sales Top 3 Million Worldwide
Gabe Newell has stated that Valve's Portal 2 has managed to sell more than 3 million copies worldwide, despite only being released a few months ago.
Newell, who's the co-founder and managing director of Valve, stated while speaking at the Games for Change conference that Portal 2 proved games can be commercial successful and educational at the same time.
What's even more impressive is that it's believed that the figures Newell divulged only relate to retail copies, they don't account for any sales through Steam.
