Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Officially Unveiled

Ubisoft has today officially announced the next Prince of Persia, called Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The new game is set for a May 2010 release on consoles and handhelds.

The Forgotten Sands will continue the Prince of Persia Sands storyline, and is currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal. Ubisoft claims the new game will feature "many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand."

Good news for series fans who shined away for the last installment, simply titled Prince of Persia, although the last title was still generally well received in the media.
