Professor Layton Not Destined For The Wii
With the Nintendo Wii's library of games ever expanding and many titles on the Nintendo DS crossing over, many people may have wondered if a Wii version of Professor Layton might ever surface.
It seems these dreams have been shattered for at least the time being, as the next game Professor Layton and the Last Time Travel is the end of the current series. However, while a new series is underway, starting with The Flute of Malevolent Destiny, the CEO of Level 5, Akihiro Hino, was only too quick to announce to Official Nintendo Magazine that there are no plans for a Wii version.
It's semi surprising that the Nintendo Wii isn't getting the game at all, but for fans of Professor Layton there is still far more puzzling fiendishness to come from Level 5.
