Project Needlemouse Finally Getting A Real Name
Fans of Sega's iconic blue hedgehog rejoice, the elusive Project Needlemouse will soon have an official name. Most of the information about this new title has been kept secret, but SEGA's America Blog has been kind enough to throw out some information at a price.
Fans of the series previously had to answer some Sonic trivia to unlock the cast of this brand new game, which happened to be just Sonic himself. Now fans are being asked to submit their own artwork of classic Sonic villains, in any form they like. In fact artists are being given extra encouragement to recreate any baddie from any classic Sonic game using 'unique' materials like Oreos.
In exchange for the free art (and publicity) Sega will announce the title of their game upon reaching 100 submissions. Also included in the trade is artwork from the first level of Project Needlemouse as well as "a very cool extra bonus". The contest closes at Monday 10am, so knowing the sheer volume in response that Project Needlemouse has garnered so far the world should have a bit more Sonic info around then.
