Realtime Worlds Confirm APB's Closure
Despite the company's best efforts, Realtime Worlds have announced that APB is going to be shut down shortly. It was initially confirmed by administrator Begbies Traynor, and was then announced officially on the website's forums.
"Today we are sad to announce that despite everyone's best efforts to keep the service running; APB is coming to a close," said Ben Bateman, the game's community officer.
The servers will remain open for now, but they won't remain open for much longer.
