Resistance 3 Public Beta Dated
Insomniac have announced the dates on which the long-awaited beta for Resistance 3 kicks off. Early access starts on August 4, that's next week mind you, and you'll need a code from specially marked boxes of SOCOM 4.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can also join in the Resistance on August 23. Like the Uncharted 3 beta, simply check the PlayStation Plus section on the PlayStation Store and download the beta client for access.
Two of the five multiplayer modes will be tested and they are Team Deathmatch and Chain Reaction. Levels have been capped at 20 in the beta, but you'll be able to level up, unlock new skins and customize your loadouts.
