Ridge Racer Vita Features Minimal Content
Previews from Japanese publications suggest that the Ridge Racer title in development for the PlayStation Vita is going to be a cut-down version of the franchise.
Both Famitsu and Impress Watch have stated that the game will only feature five different cars and three new tracks - none of which are new for the game. To make the game a bit less sparse, mirror versions of these will be available.
To reflect this, Namco will reduce the price of the game. It will cost around 3980 yen (£33), while the typical game is retailing for 4980 yen (£41). If bought digitally, it will cost as little as 2980 yen (£25). Downloadable content will also become available post-launch.
