Rocksteady 'Honoured' To Do Arkham Asylum Sequel

Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment today affirmed that they will be the worldwide publisher of the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum. Following Saturday's announcement of the sequel at the Spike Video Game Awards, Sefton Hill, Game Director at Rocksteady studios spoke to the previous title's success and the excitement of the new game in the works,

Getting the opportunity to create Batman: Arkham Asylum and seeing its success has been a dream come true for the team. We are honoured to create the next chapter in this compelling story and promise to deliver another game worthy of the Dark Knight.

No official release date is set for the upcoming sequel in this Batman series, although it's probably safe to say this could be one of the more popular titles of next year, if it's released by 2010.
