Rumor: Yakuza 3 Coming to North America And Europe
According to sources at 1up.com, it appears that SEGA is planning to release Yakuza 3, which was exclusive to the PlayStation 3 in Japan, in North American and European markets.
The series has a cult following in North American and Europe, and does moderately well in its home territory, Japan. The game revolves around the Yakuza culture in Japan, which are members of organized crime syndicates in Japan.
Yakuza 2's localization was revealed at TGS 2007, so it is entirely possible that SEGA might announce Yakuza 3's localization at TGS 2009, which kicks off this Wednesday, September 23rd. Yakuza 4 is also set to be revealed at TGS 2009.
