Rumour: EA Score Dante's Inferno Ad Slot During Super Bowl XLIV

Dante's Inferno is the latest new IP from EA, and it's being developed by Visceral Games. It launches on the 9th of February, just a few days after Super Bowl XLIV and it appears that EA are going to use this to drum up some key interest in their title.

Estimates place the cost of an ad slot during this year's Super Bowl at around $2.5 million, but the advertisement should hit their key demographic. They'll surely be hoping that this will boost sales of their title significantly.

Given EA's recent problems, it might not be the best use of money, but if it works out, Dante's Inferno could end up shifting a lot of units. It's due out in Europe only a few days later on the 12th of February and it'll be coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360.
