Rumour: EA To Close Pandemic Studios
Sources close to Kotaku are claiming that EA is set to close Pandemic Studios today, even though The Saboteur is coming out in just a few weeks.
This wouldn't be the first time this kind of move has happened, as Ensemble Studios were disbanded shortly before Halo Wars' launch
EA Montreal will reportedly take over Pandemic's development duties, and a few selected staff will be retained from Pandemic. However, most will be left looking for work. It's a sad end for the studio that was only taken over by EA recently, and are best known for making the Mercenaries franchise.
