Shiren the Wanderer Box Art And Screenshots
Orginally being announced at this year's E3, Atlus has finally released more information, the finalized boxart, and the first English screenshots for the Shiren the Wanderer, the first entry in the long-running series on the Wii.
The game takes place in feudal Japan, and comes complete with a localization that takes that into consideration for an authentic feel. Most gamers who have played this type of game know they are notorious for their difficulty, but this title also includes a easier mode for those not accustomed to the genre.
Atlus has also noted that the Rescue, Versus, and Item Transfer online features from the original Japanese version will not be included, although the downloadable dungeon content will be included on the disk. The game got a very high score when reviewed by Famitsu (9/9/8/9), noting the broad appeal of the game.
Shiren the Wanderer will be released in North America on February 9, 2010. For now, you can view the first English screenshots of the game below.
