Silent Hill HD Offers Original Voice Cast As An Alternative
Following backlash from fans, Konami has announced that Silent Hill 2 will allow players to select from the original voice recordings or those performed by the 'Silent Hill HD' cast.
Many fans were outraged when Konami announced that all of the voice actors from the Silent Hill series would be replaced with a whole new cast. So in order to calm their nerves a bit, Konami has decided to let players choose whether or not they want to listen to the 'modern' cast, although this will only be for Silent Hill 2 due to 'factors both technical and logistical'.
Hopefully this will cure some fans' rage in time for the collection's release in early 2012. It'll be releasing on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
