Skyrim Outshines Modern Warfare 3 On Steam
Following the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim last week on Steam, it was surprising to find that Skyrim was dominating play statistics.
According to the Steam Game Stat tracker, almost 250,000 people were playing Skyrim upon its release, while Modern Warfare 3 only managed to hit a peak of 78,000 on the platform.
When looking at Modern Warfare 3 as a whole, sales of the latest installment have exploded - it generated $400m in revenue on its opening day. Skyrim isn't doing too badly either though, as our recent review attests.
