Solatorobo Coming September 27 In North America
Fans of CyberConnect2 and XSEED Games's upcoming Nintendo DS title Solatorobo: Red the Hunter have been waiting for the game's finalized release date which up until now has been sometime in September. XSEED Games has finally nailed down a release date and has a gameplay trailer to go along with it.
Released in Japan last October, Solatorobo (literally translated "sky and robot") takes place in the Shepherd Republic, a series of floating islands that are populated by two distinct races of anthropomorphic dog- and cat-people. While very human-like in their nature, both of these races have evolved to use specially-built robot mechs (or Robos) in their everyday lives. As the story of Solatorobo: Red the Hunter develops further, Red and Dahak will travel throughout the Shepherd Republic, meeting new characters along the way and uncovering the truth behind a mystical artifact he has discovered.
XSEED Games will release the title in North America on September 27 for the Nintendo DS. Those who pre-order the title (or get one of the first print-run copies of the game) will get the same accompanying soundtrack CD that was found in the pre-order copies of the Japanese version of the game.
