Sonic 4 Episode 2 Officially Announced
Sega has finally confirmed that Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will be released this year, although the platforms it will release on have changed from the original Episode.
Sonic 4: Episode 2 will now release on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, Apple's App Store, the Android Marketplace and on the Windows Phone 7. This means there's no longer a place for the WiiWare platform.
Sega also revealed that Episode 2 would have a re-worked physics engine, as they try to re-create the magic that the original games on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis had - something they didn't quite manage with Episode 1.
