Sonic Generations Includes Original Sonic Game

Sega has revealed that Sonic Generations will be including a special treat for fans of the franchise - a free copy of the original game from the Sega Mega Drive.

There was no mention of whether you'd have to unlock it or not, but Takashi Iizuka revealed the news when speaking to Destructoid at Paris Games Week.

Sonic Generations is due to release next month on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with PC and Nintendo 3DS versions also under development. It looks to celebrate Sonic's journey in video games.
