Sony Announces Reduced Price Lineup For June
Hot off the heels of the recently announced ten game promotion for new PSPgo buyers, it appears Sony will also be offering a group of new PSP "favourites" that will also be available for purchase on the PlayStation Network for $9.99 a piece. This list includes nine first party titles as well as a bunch of third party titles that have been dropped to the new price point as well. The list of games consists of:
- Ape Escape: On The Loose
- Buzz! Master Quiz
- Hot Shots Golf Open Tee
- LocoRoco 2
- Patapon 2
- PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe
- SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo
- Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
- Twisted Metal: Head On
There are also a few third party titles including Manhunt 2 and The Warriors from Rockstar games, as well as Silent Hill: Origins from Konami and Sims 2 from EA. Sony has also announced some new games in the Greatest Hits lineup which consists of Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance: Retribution, and Secret Agent Clank for $19.99 each.
At least now the downloadable space does have a little more selection available at a more reasonable price. Now if Sony would only offer those ten free games to everyone who has a PSPgo since all the early adopters in North America got shafted for a free game.
