Sony Japan Celebrates 15 Years Of PlayStation

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan have opened up a new website to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the PlayStation brand. It's hard to believe that the original PlayStation arrived 15 years ago to this day in Japan and when it did, few would have predicated that it would become such a huge player in the industry.

The timeline on the website shows that there have been ten consoles released in the PlayStation brand's lifetime, with it increasing considerably in recent years due to the various PSP re-launches.

The logo is made up of various staples, such as SingStar microphones, Buzz controllers, a UMD and a Pocketstation. For more information please visit the source.
