Splinter Cell Conviction Collector's Edition Detailed and Dated

Splinter Cell fans will be happy to hear that they can now have their very own Sam Fisher statue as Ubisoft has announced a Limited Collector's Edition of Splinter Cell Conviction. This collector's edition will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PC, which is pretty shocking to hear, since most special editions leave the option of a PC box set out of the equation.

Aside from the statue of a scruffy Sam Fisher, the Limited Collector's Edition will include a SteelBook game case, and also package the game's soundtrack, featuring somewhere around 17 tracks. For in-game treats, the collectors edition will have early game access to three weapons as well as a playable skin called 'Shadow Armour'. One interesting inclusion in this package is a game mode called 'Infiltration Mode' which involves killing all enemies in a map without detection. It's unclear whether this is a mode that will eventually come to standard edition players or if it will become possible downloadable content.

Either way all of this content will be available for worldwide release on February 25th. Although the price has not yet been confirmed, it will definitely be interesting to see what all of this will go for.
