Square Enix Mystery Site Is A New Final Fantasy

Gamers around the world have been watching Square Enix's new mystery countdown for any clues as to what the game might be. Thanks to a leaked scan of the new issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, we now know what the mystery game is.

The title of the new game is Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden. Although the scan is only one page, some key details about the game were revealed. It is a traditional role-playing game and tells the story of a young boy trying to save a princess. Equipment also plays a large part in this game, since the appearance of the characters changes depending on what they are wearing.

The game will be in 3D, and seems to have a watercolor-like art direction look to it. The game will be coming to the Nintendo DS this Fall in Japan. No North American release date has currently been announced.
