Star Ocean 4: TLH Heads to the PS3
Square Enix has just announced in a Japanese video game magazine scan that they are going to release a PlayStation 3 version of Star Ocean: The Last Hope, which is the fourth game in the series.
The Last Hope originally appeared on the Xbox 360 earlier this year. There were slight differences between the Japanese and North American/European versions besides the voice-overs, such as replacing the anime-styled character portraits with CG-based ones and changing the look of the game's menu.
The PlayStation 3 version will be an "International" version, which will include both the Japanese and English voice-overs. This also applies to the menu changes --- you will get the respective menu from the Xbox 360 version depending on which voice-over you select.
The PS3 version will be released on February 4th, 2010 in Japan. No word on any other additions to the game or an North American/European release.
