StarCraft Ghost Was Cancelled Due To World of Warcraft's Success

Blizzard has revealed that the once highly anticipated StarCraft Ghost, was only cancelled because World of Warcraft was a break-away success - something they hadn't planned for.
Speaking at DICE, Blizzard boss Morhaime said: "They [the development team] were working on StarCraft Ghost the same time we were working on World of Warcraft and StarCraft II.
"World of Warcraft exploded and we needed to make some resource decisions. It just wasn’t an environment in which a project like [Ghost] could succeed."
It's a shame that this was the case, but Blizzard can't really be blamed. Maybe it will be brought back from the dead one day in the future.
