Surprise, Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 Sees Dracula's Return
Konami have officially revealed Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, the followup to 2010's reboot of the classic franchise, in a lovely CGI trailer featuring Dracula, a lot of screwed knights, and an even larger screwed man-made colossus.
"Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 underscores our commitment to bringing only AAA titles to the market," said Konami President Tomoyuki Tsuboi. "The rich storyline, vibrant graphics and series surprises are unparalleled – making Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 one of the biggest titles to look out for next year."
The first Lords of Shadow covered the origins of the legendary Dracula, and his relation with the Belmonts - remember that shocking ending? Lords of Shadow 2 will have the vampire lord return as he faces a new threat whilst searching for a way to release himself from his immortal yoke.
Moreover, Konami also teased Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate for the Nintendo 3DS, featuring what looks to be Castlevania III's Trevor Belmont as its protagonist "changed by fate."
